Libraries Online

Download the Aberdeenshire Libraries App to check your account and renew your loans. You can search for a book to see its availability in a branch, or reserve it and have it sent to a convenient pick-up location. You can use the camera on your phone to scan a book to see whether we hold it in stock, and even self issue books when you’re in the library – no need to visit the desk!

Take a closer look at our Blog for more information about library events and resources.

You can search our catalogue for books, DVDs, CDs and talking books by author, title, subject, library location and year published. Reserve them online and receive an email once they are ready to be collected from your local library.

You’ll find links there to let you request an item for purchase, arrange an Inter-Library Loan, and the ‘Ask a Librarian’ service.
